Gift Guide 2019

It’s that time of year! It’s been a really tough week with the passing of my sweet Gracie, so I thought something light might be the way to go. I love gift guides. I attribute the feeling of scrolling through a good gift like flipping through a magazine. It’s mindless, fun, and makes me want to buy things. I’m pretty pumped about this year’s gift guide, and think you might end up finding some pieces you just might want for yourself! 😉 Much of it is based off my own dream wish list, but many of the items I’ve either seen in person or own.

First off is the “Away” suitcase. I’ve been eyeing this Pink Bigger Carry-On for about two years. It’s on my wish list for the holidays, but I honestly just love how much the color stands out. I’ve seen them in person, and I honestly think they’re stunning for a suitcase. Plus, so spacious! There is an ejectable battery to charge your phone and it seems to move really easily.

I personally think this Leopard print coat is absolutely gorgeous. It’s the same faux fur material that my leopard print vest is that I wear all the time. I love a stand out piece like this – it’s something you keep forever!

I have tried so many scents, and every time I go back to Flowerbomb by Victor&Rolf. It’s just my favorite! It’s pricey, but I hardly use any – just a quick spritz. It’s a lovely floral scents that isn’t too strong, yet strong enough that I feel like I can smell it throughout the day. It’s the only perfume that I have strangers regularly recognize and say they are as obsessed as I am!

Both Jake and my Mom have the tree runner Allbirds and they both swear by them. Jake literally called them the comfiest pair of shoes he owns and my Mom said she wants a second pair. I think I see both of them wear them several times a week, and my Mom walked all over D.C in them. If you’re looking to give a comfortable shoe – this is the one! Both of them seem to prefer the tree runner version over the wool – a bit more breathable and you see less of the shape of your toes through the fabric. They also come in a ton of colors – great for men and women!

Honestly, nothing comfier than an L.L. Bean pullover. I wear mine weekly – it’s super cozy for lounging around the house but, on more casual days, I’ve even worn it to work. Jake has one, both my sisters have one – it’s a staple. I highly recommend it to anyone on your list!

My parents got me this sherpa blanket for my birthday this year and I can honestly say I have used it every single day since. It’s the comfiest blanket I own, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I love the blue plaid pattern (it matches both my bedroom and living room perfectly – love blues in a living space!) but it comes in camel and grey as well!

I mean, wow. The Margaux flats, especially in pointe, are absolutely stunning. They remind me of ballerina shoes, especially with the dainty bow on top. Can’t go wrong with quality shoes like these. I mean, come on, totally breath taking pair here.

I know – there’s a lot of pink in this list. If you don’t like pink, you might need to read another blog! 😉 I’m continually impressed by Julia Hengel’s Gal Meets Glam collection – dress, coats, shoes. Everything is well made and gorgeous. She has clearly thought everything through when it comes to her business, and I honestly love her for it. This coat, Willa, is one of the more affordable ones, but I also think it’s adorable.

I love a clear make up bag when traveling. This Mark and Graham clear pouch is 1) monogrammed, so A+ right there and 2) I love the border around the clear portion of the bag. It also comes in camel, navy and gold! If you have a regular traveler, or maybe someone who just likes the visual of seeing their makeup, this is a perfect gift.

One of my number one recommendations every year! A Bean Boot is a New England Staple. They last forever, are quality made, and go with everything all winter long. I highly recommend splurging for the Goretext/Thinsulate. So much warmer and so worth the price!

This yeti is something you can get almost anyone on your list. I’ve been using it for both tea and coffee at work almost every day – it keeps my drinks so hot!! It’s unbelievable. They come in a variety of colors, and lid styles. Sam got me one for my birthday (I love the navy…) and it truly is perfect.

How cute is this Rifle Paper Co luggage tag? I love anything that spruces up a suitcase (I always tied my Tiffany bow on mine from the box my parents gave me…) – this will truly make it stand out! They have the best patterns and always have excellent quality products. A perfect gift for a friend!

I’ve recommended this 1988 rollneck sweater a million times on my blog, but it really is a true favorite of mine. Jake has the men’s version, I have two colors – it’s a staple for nice dinners and work days. Comfy and flattering! I literally have two colors and if I opened a box that had the navy, I would beam. It’s just darling, and the perfect gift!

I love this oven mit made with Rifle Paper Co fabric on Etsy! This seller has tons of different choices when it comes to Rifle Paper Co fabric, but I love the pops of red and green in this one – feels perfect for the Christmas season. If you have a baker in your family, this is totally the way to go!

Speaking of Rifle Paper Co fabric, I bought this fob (the smaller size, “mini”) on Etsy for my apartment keys, and I love it. It feels really durable and well made, and it’s such a cute way to keep my keys together and find them easily in my purse. All around, it’s perfect, and would 100% buy from this seller over and over (Can you tell I already have??) Highly recommend if you’re looking for a gift for a coworker or friend!

Jake got me this Kitchenaid for Christmas last year and I use it all the time. First of all, it’s gorgeous, I love the color in our kitchen. Second, you can make so many things with it! If you have a close family member who doesn’t have one of these yet, I totally recommend buying one of these. It will be a for sure win!

Omg, AirPods. I got Jake these for his birthday this past summer, and I’m pretty sure he uses them every single day. More than ever I hear how much people love AirPods once they have them – Jake is a huge fan of the charging case as well! this gift works well for pretty much everyone on your list.

Just like my yeti, I use my S’well every day at work. It keeps my water icy cold, and it’s a great way to make sure I’m being environmentally friendly when it comes to water bottle use. They come in so many colors and patterns, and pretty much everyone loves to get one! We have a few in our home, and it’s great having options. I bring it on the train when we go into the city or on long car rides too! The perfect water bottle. 🙂

Okay, Dudley Stephen’s fleeces are literally everywhere, and I think I’ve wanted one for at least two years now. The company started in Connecticut, and I’m told by everyone who wears them that they are completely unique and worth the $$$$. I’ve, obviously, been thinking about this pink one but they come in so many colors. Really, there’s one for everyone!

What’s on your wish list this year?
