End of “Student”

It’s very bizarre to me that, in a matter of days, I will no longer be a “student.” You don’t realize how much you make that label apart of yourself until you, all of the sudden, aren’t one anymore.

Well, not “all of the sudden.” It feels like it took a while. I still remember graduating from NYU in 2016 and having that “What do I do now?” feeling. Luckily, I’m a little more focused now, and no longer feeling the confusing post-grad blues. In fact – I’m relieved! The thought of not needing to do homework anymore, and focusing solely on my careers (teaching and blogging), makes me feel a million times better. However, the thought of leaving my students that I’ve been student teaching with has me very sad…but that’s another story…

Jeans are J. Crew (and 29% off!) and sweater is my cozy L.L. Bean Fisherman Sweater  – I just love the zipper sides, don’t you?

Seeing as I’m soon leaving the “student” identity, I thought this would be a good time to let you know about a bag that I’ve fallen hard for…especially from a student perspective!

Looking for a backpack that’s practical, weather poof and cute? You, in all seriousness, have to check out Hunter’s top clip backpack. What first drew me to it was the iconic “Hunter” logo on the back, accented with the red and white zippers. Then, when Hunter sent me the backpack, I wanted to first make sure it could stand all the student needs before reviewing it for you all. It can. My favorite part has to be it’s durability. It can hold my laptop, all my graduate books and notebooks. Plus, the clip on the top of the bag really makes you feel like everything is being held together, making it nice and snug on your back. Plus, the padding on the straps is actually wicked comfortable. I don’t mind walking across campus with it, and it never hurts my shoulders. P.s. It also comes in six different colors!

The bag is also water resistant, which makes me feel a lot better about walking through the rain on campus with my laptop in my bag. Having that extra layer of protection, especially for someone who relies so heavily on their computer, is such a blessing!

You can still grab this bag before Christmas!
