Fun in Virginia Beach

Jake and I had so much fun at the wedding of Jay and Marcy this weekend! To be honest, it’s always a great time joining the Peterson family at their events. I can’t even express how grateful I am for how welcoming Jake’s extended family has always been to me!!

Dress is a favorite of mine from Gal Meets Glam, but unfortunately currently out of stock. Shoes are Jack Rogers!

Their ceremony was really special because they had all of their children together and included a “blending ceremony” for themselves. I thought this was such a nice touch to see all of their children up there together during their special moment. The wedding itself was at the cavalier hotel, which has just been an overall ~gorgeous~ experience. Everything here is beyond lovely…particuarlyyyy the bathrooms in the hotel rooms. Each night, the hotel delivers freshly baked cookies to the hotel room and the experience includes a beach club with delicious tacos. Plus, the Peterson’s gave everyone a hat on it with the letter “P” – including me! For obvious reasons, I chose the pink.

I also had a blast on the dance floor with Jake and all of his relatives! We kept running back and forth between the photo booth and dancing, depending on the song that was playing. 😉 The photographer actually approached me the morning after to let me know that my hair made a lot of photos because I was shaking it around so much on the dance floor. lol oops. Afterwards, we were all served chicken and waffles to take in to-go containers on the way out. It really was perfect!

Because the wedding was in Virginia Beach, I also have Murdock family around, so I able to grab lunch with my own cousins! I finally got to meet little Zara, and she was just the sweetest thing.

All in all – a perfect weekend, yet again! I just adore this family and I’m so grateful to be included!
