Mother’s Day Gift Guide

So, my Mom most definitely reads the blog (Hi, Mom!) so I am obviously not revealing my Mother’s Day gift until after the big day. However, I thought this would be a great opportunity to include some of the items I considered, hopefully giving some of you some ideas as well! My Mom is my best friend and 100% deserves to have the best Mother’s Day possible – I’m sure many of you feel the same about your own Mom’s but, trust me, mine is the best! 😉

Dress is last years J. Crew (but this one, this one and this one are their latest gingham pieces that are similar for this season!) shoes are J.Crew and tights are also J.Crew. Necklace is also (you guessed it…) J.Crew but from a few years ago as a gift from my older sister, Katie. I would say this necklace is definitely the closest they have now!  Apple Watch band is Etsy. 🙂

My first suggestion is the “Best of Beauty Counter” skin care gift set. I personally own this set, and it includes the cleansing balm , the countermatch adaptive lotion, the No. 1 brightening facial oil, and the No. 3 balancing facial charcoal mask. It’s a great way to try a lot of products at once without breaking the bank, and comes in a lovely ivory box – seriously, the packaging is stunning (making it the perfect gift…!)

I’m a major fan of the Iconic Vera Duffle. I’ve been using mine since senior year of high school, and it has held up so well. Vera Bradley always has the cutest patterns and it’s always nice to have a pop when you’re traveling. You can fit a ton, and it’s the perfect baggage for a weekend getaway. If your Mom doesn’t always have one of these, it’s the perfect gift!

I’m loving this “Mom” necklace by Mark & Graham. It’s subtle but pretty and I think that it’s a particularly thoughtful Mother’s Day gift. If you order today, you will most definitely get it in time for Mother’s Day! Usually I choose silver, because I try to match my own daily jewelry, but I’m actually more drawn towards the gold when it comes to this necklace.

I am head over heels for this Rifle Paper Company apron. I love a classic apron, and I am always a fan of Rifle Paper Company fabric. If your Mom likes to cook, this is a such a nice way to get a touch of color into the kitchen, along with some spring florals. Plus, I just love the denim color for the bottom of the apron. Overall, this is such a thoughtful gift!

If your Mom needs new makeup brushes (don’t we all?) the Make Up Brushes by Beauty Counter are extra smooth and soft on the skin. Plussssss, they are 100% animal hair free, so your Mom can also feel good about where her brushes are coming from! This set comes with a powder brush, a blush brush, and eye brush and crease brush. I literally can’t think of a better gift for my own Mom!

This Dry Bar Hair Dryer is still one of the best Christmas Gifts I have ever received. If your Mom needs a hair dryer upgrade, this is the one. My hair has never been better or easier to dry. I use to struggle with frizziness every time I dried my hair, but this one has a range of temperature and speed settings that work perfectly for me. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Mother’s Day is in spring, which means is the perfect time to purchase a pair of neutral Jack Rogers. If you’re Mom doesn’t already own a pair (or wants another one…) I can guarantee this will be a gift that lasts and she’ll wear to everything. I wear my own Jack Rogers from everything to weddings, to work,  to walking along the boardwalk. It’s the perfect summer shoe and a closet staple.

Who doesn’t want a classic pajama set? I love this pair from J.Crew – it’s perfect for summer and the color is gorgeous. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love getting into a clean pajama set and relaxing with a face mask before bed. If you’re looking for a more affordable pair, J.Crew factory has this pair that looks nearly identical!

Have a Mom that loves coffee? If your Mom doesn’t already have one, a Nespresso machine is the perfect gift. Jake absolutely loves his (he drinks a lot of espresso) and it’s a great way to change up your regular coffee game. It’s super easy to use, and a thoughtful gift for a Mom who needs her morning coffee!

If your Mom spends a lot of time at the beach, this L.L. Bean summer cooler is the best of the best and absolutely classic. I actually have this bag in the lunch box version (so does my Mom…) and it keeps things so cold for work. It’s the best lunch box I’ve ever owned! I can’t even imagine how great it would be to have the larger version for the beach. 🙂 A monogram would be the perfect personal touch to this gift!

What are you getting your Mom for Mother’s Day?
