Sister Weekend

Both my sisters, Katie and Sam, were able to visit me this weekend. We’ve been trying forever to get the three of us to be able to come at the same time and I’m so happy we were able to work it out this month! We had an absolute blast!

My older sister has her boating license, so we were able to go boating, which was honestly incredible relaxing and exactly what I needed. I haven’t been on a boat in at least a year, so it was just lovely to be able feel the salty air while snacking on some cheese itz. Honestly, how much better does it get? The three of us had a ton of fun out on the water and it was so nice to be able to catch up together in one longer visit.

We also had a blast back at my apartment playing with Jake’s new playstation VR set. He just got it last week, so I knew a bit about how to use it, but we were all laughing hysterically at everyone giving it a try. Jake had a bunch of demos we were able to try as well as a few full games he had already purchased. It made me so happy that he bought it and it gave us a fun (covid friendly!) activity to do at night too.

We also of course ate dinner out on the balcony – it really felt like the first day of fall, so we couldn’t have asked for any better weather. It really was a perfect weekend together! I just wanted to solidify this great memory on the blog. 🙂
