Summer Dresses (That I’ve Been Eyeing All Season!)

I’m one of those people that just feels so comfortable and happy in a dress. It’s such an easy outfit, and I feel feminine/happy/pretty all at the same time. As the continual window shopper that I am, I’ve come across dresses (With a huge price range!) that I’ve been eyeing this entire summer. Although we’re half-way done, there’s still time to find a dress for that next tea party or summer bash. Here are my favorite dresses that, although I wish I was buying, I’ll share with you instead! 😉

  • As a blogger, it feels like all my favorite bloggers have already made the splurge on a Gal Meets Glam dress. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t obsessed with them all, but this one I’ve been eyeing since the collection came out. It’s just so darling, and I love the bow in the back! Plus, it’s called Samantha, which we all know reminds me of my main girl, Sam! :* I’m actually thinking I will buy this one, so let’s hope you see it in a blog post eventually. BUT JUST THIS ONE. I can’t splurge on every one of these….
  • We all know my love for J. Crew, but I’ve seen this dress on enough women to know I want it. I was hoping to have it by the fourth but, honestly, a grad student has to save somewhere! How perfect though with a denim jacket and some silver Jacks
  • Okay. I already bought this – I’m definitely cheating at my own game here. But I had to share because honestly I find it really flattering and versatile. I wore this dress walking all over Lisbon and you can see me wearing it here and here. It’s not a denim dress, but has that look to it, and is incredibly light weight. I think it could also be styled for the fall as well!
  • Alright, this is also Gal Meets Glam. What can I say? Julia Hengel knows what I like! This one is a little more pricey but I find it to be such a unique sundress. I’m obsessed with the floral print and flare of the dress, and it genuinely makes me want to go to a polo match wearing a giant sun hat (Which I’ve never done or even been remotely close to doing….)
  • You know me – I love gingham anything. This Belted Draper James Shift dress just looks so flattering. You can dress it up with heels or dress it down with white sneaks, but I honestly think it just looks like something I want to walk around a new city in. Draper James paired it with red heels on Reese Witherspoon, and I think it makes it look stunning!
  • I will literally never in my life be able to pull off this dress because I’m 5′ 2″ but for the tall women in my life THIS DRESS IS FOR YOU! Come on, how gorgeous would this be with this basket clutch by J.Crew? I would need to wear some majorly wedged heels if I even have a shot of pulling this off but honestly, I love this dress!
  • Loving this pop of green in all my need for blue dresses, but I really love the off the shoulder look in this Madewell Appliqué Dress. I think it could just be stunning! I would choose to wear it with these Honey Leather Toms Wedges and I would pair it with some statement earrings, maybe a tassle or a hoop
  • Ever since I saw Sophie Shumacher wear the yellow version of the dress (which is now, sadly, sold out….), I wanted this KJP Vineyard Summering Dress. Sophie is “goals” because her style is simply brilliant, and she looked stunning in the yellow! Pink is my second choice, but I still find it lovely. This makes me feel like I should be lounging in an Adirondack chair by the lake and sipping a glass of white wine.
  • Although they all could make the cut, I had to add one more (blue) Gal Meets Glam dress. I can’t rave about the look of the collection more, and I’m just simply dying to buy one. However, I just think this one is so different, yet charming. I love the simple flower print and the collar, paired with the tie at the neckline. Absolutely love this dress, and am doing everything to stop myself from purchasing it!
  • More blue florals – should I have made this post about blue dresses? I guess I have a serious preference! However, doesn’t this KJP dress make you feel like you’re getting tea at the palace? I would love to wear this to a dinner party ASAP. Plus, who doesn’t love a dress with a bit of flare and POCKETS?!
  • I love the yellow/gold color on this Madewell Dress, and I think the side tie adds a nice touch. I wish there was a photo with a model, because I want to see the fit, however I could totally see myself making the leap and buying it anyway. I would pair with a suede mule, like this “butter rum” colored pair by Jack Rogers

What dressed have you been eyeing this summer? Let me know if any of you buy these and fall in love! (Or don’t!)
